COVID-19 Compliance Reporting
Each member of the University community has a shared responsibility to maintain a healthy and safe environment during the COVID-19 pandemic, including both the personal responsibility of adhering to all University-adopted public health policies and guidelines, as well as acting as engaged bystanders to respectfully increase compliance by fellow members of the community. For reporting of any significant or repetitive violations, the University has developed two COVID-19 Compliance Reporting platforms:
- UVA students, faculty and staff may report through the UVA COVID-19 Compliance Reporting Portal
- Members of the surrounding community may report through the Community Concerns Reporting Portal
UVA Internal Audit Fraud Hotline
State Fraud, Waste & Abuse Hotline
Safety and Access Reporting
Just Report It!
Just Report It! is a University-wide system for faculty, staff and students to report incidents related to sexual and gender-based harassment and violence, bias, hazing, Clery reports, interference with speech rights, and youth protection.
The University of Virginia is a caring community that aspires to treat every individual with kindness, dignity and respect, regardless of position or status. The University cannot realize its bold ambitions for excellence in teaching, research, public service, and patient care unless every member of its community embraces these values and promptly reports instances of misconduct.
The University encourages every member of our community to promptly report any instance of abuse or mistreatment of anyone by University personnel, including workplace bullying, to appropriate supervisors, unit heads, department managers or deans, or through the incident reporting system, with the full confidence that such reports will be treated seriously and investigated promptly and impartially, and without fear of reprisal or retaliation for making a good faith report.
Report a Tip and LiveSafe
The University of Virginia Police Department collects tips on previously reported crimes. Information submitted is anonymous and encrypted, and helps to ensure the ongoing safety and security of the University community. Emergencies and unreported incidents should always be reported by calling 911.
Report a Barrier
The University of Virginia is committed to equal access and makes every effort to remove barriers to academic programs, University-sponsored events, and University Grounds. Barriers may include things such as an inaccessible website, an inoperative elevator, a blocked access ramp, the need for a curb cut, or other lack of access to an event or program. Please visit the Report a Barrier site to inform the University of any barriers to access.
Report a Safety Hazard
In order to keep the University a safe place to learn, work, teach and visit, the Office of Emergency Management welcomes reports of safety hazards around Grounds. Online submissions may remain anonymous if desired. For any other questions or concerns, please contact the Office of Emergency Management directly at (434) 982-0565 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Athletics Compliance Reporting
The University of Virginia and its coaches, staff, student-athletes, donors and fans strive to make following NCAA and ACC rules a priority. However, oversights and mistakes can occur. The Athletics Compliance Office must ensure that all potential violations are investigated and addressed appropriately and in a timely manner. If you are aware of a possible violation of NCAA or ACC regulations, please report the issue to our office by submitting the information through an anonymous email by filling in the form at https://athletics.virginiasports.com/compliance/contact.html. All submissions are anonymous and held in strictest confidence.
Information Security Reporting
